Nasa released a compilation of footage from various cameras attatched to both solid rocket boosters. Nasa TV showed all views from accention to decention. But this compilation shows the most dramatic and interesting views captured. It is still primarily a single shot from low earth orbit down to earths oceans surface.
Hydra at Dorney Park in PA is a floorless coaster with a one of a kind element. It does a complete inversion right out of the load station before the lift hill.
This new ride design gives a sustained sense of weightlessness. Though the ride slowly spins. It is not a ride that has proven to cause people to get sick so it has become a success over the last couple years.
This roller coaster was the first to break 200ft. It was built in 1989 and set the pace for the "coaster wars' for the next 10 years. Parks continued to top one another by 10ft or 5ft until Cedar Point decided to recapture the world record again by building Millennium Force for the 2000 season.
With the success of Magnum XL 200 Cedar point decided to build the tallest and fastes wooden coaster. This on-ride video does not do it justice. The ride is fast, long, and mean! It definitately has that out of control feeling that wood coasters can give. It was built for the 1991 season. It's a very big roller coaster.
