Creating designs for your CafePress shop? Your computer display uses the RGB color space. Your designs will be printed in CMYK, so designing that way saves surprises. Some colors you can see in RGB are not available in CMYK. So the colors change when printed. Your CafePress thumbnails will not show you that change. This video shows the changes to RGB when converted to CMYK.
In Photoshop you can use the color picker to get a close color then either hit the CMYK gamut triangle or type numbers into the CMYK box. This will show you how. Unfortunately Paint Shop Pro doesn't provide an easy way to design in CMYK.
