Kosmos went through a phase when she would rear at things she didnt want to go through or past... like the river here. she doesn't do it anymore and she wasn't dangerous about it when she did, but it was certainly a challenge to get through.

This is Mystic and I working on rearing from the ground. She is not quite as animated from the ground as she is when I'm in the saddle, but this is where we learn the best. Plus this is after we warmed up, so she is being a little lazy. We are working on rearing off a single cue. We haven't gotten that far yet.

She's started playing up so much. I know it's not physical. She's napping to get back to the field. I ended up getting off, led her out of the pen, then got on and went and she was fine.
