Live @ the Times Union Center, Albany NY. "Watchtower" was the final song of the encore.

Denny Freeman ? lead guitar, slide guitar
Donnie Herron - pedal steel guitar, violin, mandolin, banjo
George Recile ? drums
For anyone who was wondering how to play this song on guitar - here's a passable version (in a different key than the record, I think). More like Graham Parker's than the Jackson Five's. I think I misspoke about staying on each chord longer for the chorus. Just ignore that.
Les, at 91 years old, early in the 8:00 pm set of his band's regular Monday Night gig at NYC's Iridium Jazz Club. Backed by Les's Jersey buddy, Lou "The Man of 1,000 Inversions" Pallo on the LP Black Beauty, Nicki Parrot on bass, and Jon Colliannis on piano.
June 7th, 2007 at Albany, NY's Riverfront Park for the Alive at Five concert series. Voice and keyboard skills as good as ever! Great band he's put together, too.

From the first date of the 1989 North American Tour. The Who rehearsed at the Glens Falls Civic Center, then announced a surprise show to warmup for the tour. This is a better quality dub than the 'Overture' which I posted previously. Footage is from a feed to the BBC and was broadcast locally on the news in it's entirety. This is all I have!
