This is my rendition of Smokin' by Boston. I considered re-making the video portion because my headset fell half way through the song but decided to leave it in for some comic relief.
I was asked to explain how to play the solo in Ticket To Ride by one of my subscribers, but since I do not read tabs I made this video...also included is some instruction on the guitar solo for Day Tripper.
I DO NOT USE TABS, SORRY, PLEASE DON'T ASK. I know, the audio mix on this really stinks. I did this for a reason however...just to lay to rest any accusation that I was lip-synching or not really playing. I was inspired to do this after seeing the little 9 year-old boy play it almost flawlessly here on youtube. I don't play it exactly right myself, but I sort of like it that way.

I DO NOT USE TABS, SORRY, PLEASE DON'T ASK. Ok, so NOW everyone can see why it is that I wear a do-rag or a cap on my head...it's nearly blinding isn't it? This is one of my all-time favorite James Taylor tunes...hope I've done it justice...I believe this dates back to about 1970.
Here she is...I've been working on this since March 2006, piecing it together piece by piece. Finally got the neck mounted, the pickups wired, the pick guard fitted...a few minor details left to do on it but I went ahead and put some strings on it and played it! I LOVE IT!
I figured it was about time that I put up a cover by the Beatles. The guitar I'm playing in this is the one I began learning how to play with listening to Beatles records. Nevermind the little Tull bit at the intro, I was just loosening up a bit...HEH.

Nevermind my tiny earphones...I was playing to a click track to maintain the tempo to set the backing track. The guitar and vocal are live into the camera mic, the backing track was made in post. This is my cover of Crosseyed Mary by Jethro Tull. I think Aqualung is about my favorite Tull album...probably because it was my first Tull purchase, and I eagerly learned as many of the tunes on the album as I could.
