Why Do We Travel?
Can you imagine what life would be like without travel? Is it possible to even consider life without travel? For many varied reasons, traveling is just a necessary part of peoples life. We all travel from time to time - so of us more frequently than others.
Here are a few different reasons why people travel -
- Many people travel because they want to see their families and friends who live far away. Invitations from families and friends, especially those that live far away, come so seldom and you will decide to travel just to see them.
- People travel because they want to see their soul mates. Some people believe that there is only one person for them and if they havent had much luck searching in their area, they figure that even though there are millions of people around the world, they can still find that special someone in a far off place.
- People travel to seek work, because they want to experience working in a different locale. In most cases, earning money is hard and some people decide to work abroad because they are looking for that greener pasture. Other place sometimes pay bigger salaries than their current job. It might also be that their expertise is no longer favorable in their present location. Unfortunately, they have to leave their families for awhile for job opportunities abroad.
- People travel because they want to learn about other cultures. They want to see the difference between their culture and other cultures in distant places. They want to learn other cultures and for them, traveling is fun while learning. One particular new experience about different cultures is the food. People want to know how food is prepared and try exotic fllavors. Obviously, we all love to eat.
- Some people travel because they are writers. They want to give the readers relevant stories and reports, especially when the story takes place in a distant land.
- People travel because they want to see the beautiful scenery of different countries. Many want to capture their experiences thru photography, since those pictures can serves as personal souvenirs.
- People sometimes travel to start a new business venture. When opportunities arise, it's usually difficult to decide to leave your family and open a business in a far away place. Some businessmen want to start up a business in another place because they want to gain profits that may not be attainable from their present location. After all, business is about profit.
- Probably the best traveling you can do is when you travel just for fun - a family vacation, a trip to a resort or casino, or just a relaxing trip to the beach or mountains!
