Body Jewelry
Have you ever been at the airport and seen someone with so much body jewelry that they set off the metal detectors? I know it may seem funny, but for some people, this really happens.
Over the past several years, body piercing had literally taken over the fashion jewelry scene. To some people, it seems that those days have passed, but is the trend completely dead?
The days of piercing every body part with jewelry is no longer fashionable, but nowadays, body jewelry is more accepted in many regards. Having pierced ears, eyebrows and belly buttons are not considered to be so "out there" as they once were.
In most all fashion circles, these minor jewelry piercings are still very popular and will likely remain that way for years to come. Of course, certain piercings will never become an accepted standard and that is probably a good thing.
Jewelry for the ears will always be fashionable, as well as eyebrows and navels as long as it is done within reason and not in excess.
Body piercings and body jewelry, in particular, have become a way of life for many people. To believe it will go away in the future is false expectation.
Although body jewelry is certainly not for everyone, it does have its place in the world of fashion.
